The group has opted for a strategy based on innovation to promote the technological performance of its products and leverage response to consumer demand. Among many other examples, this strategy has enabled Sphere to launch “Coulissac”, the 1st waste-bag with slip strings, plus new materials for garbage bags and food wrappings (cooking paper, aluminium foil etc.)

In 2006, Sphere is taking a new step forward in its business strategy by switching production to bioplastics, a new generation of biodegradable products made of renewable raw materials. As a first sign of the group’s strategy, Sphere this year is launching Alfapac, a full range of biodegradable garbage and green waste-bags.
